Corner Plaza Europa
Surface of 14,000m2 with a maximum height of 11m next to the fountains of the Plaza Europa and in front of the skyscrapers of the award-winning Japanese architect, Toyo Ito, Pritzker Prize 2013. The design of the building not only recalls the organic shapes used by Art Nouveau architects like Antoni Gaudí, but he is also highly committed to the environment. Several natural energy sources have been used in order to maximize sustainability and reduce environmental impact. As the maximum exponent of this trend, the site has one of the largest photovoltaic plants in the country (165,000m2), which prevents an annual emission of 2,047 tons of CO2 and generates enough energy for 980 homes of 4 people. The site has 5,000 private parking spaces and 5,000 hotel beds at walking distance, as well as two heliport tracks and direct access to metro L9.
