Pabellón Automoción
Built in 1929 on the occasion of the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona, it has a very marked industrial aesthetic. It used to be the Palace of Communications and Transport at a time when the fairs were multisectoral. It is a space of 14,000m2 and a maximum height of 20m located in the heart of the city. It consists of two main accesses, the Plaza de Espanya in front of Las Arenas, a Neomudéjar-style building from 1900 and the access of the Avenida de la Reina Maria Cristina next to the emblematic area of the Fountains of Montjuïc and the site of the great popular events of Barcelona such as the New Year, the Marathon or the Mercè.
