It occupies the place of the old Palace of Textile Art of the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1929. This space of industrial aesthetics has 3.000m2 and a maximum height of 15m. It was built in the 80s and its name commemorates the mayor of Barcelona who promoted the Universal Exhibition of Barcelona in 1888 and all the urban reorganization that it entailed. In the heart of the city, its exclusive access is right in front of the Crowne Plaza Hotel ****. It is located next to the historic building of the Firefighters of Barcelona, a school of neoclassical style and the former Press Center of the Universal Exhibition of 1929, a modernist building of the architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner. It is a very open space with an outdoor area.
